Vivian matches.

Busy, busy week. 'Tis the season, I suppose!

I've been working hard to get my Christmas cards in the mail, finish my shopping, wrap everything, ship a couple of packages and do some Christmas baking. I also continue to serve as nurse to Hockey Boy, who has had a miraculously quick and easy recovery from his tonsillectomy, with only one 12-hour period of bad pain on Day 5 when his scabs began to fall off (thanks for the warning, Kim!).

Apologies for negligence in blog reading and posting this month. Here, briefly, is a little video I received from Vivian's aide yesterday. In it she is working at her classroom's "Smart Board" to match upper- and lowercase letters.

Merry Christmas!

I have had a SmartBoard in my classroom for years. They are amazing! Having taught in a school that specifically caters to children with dyslexia, I know how wonderful the manipulation can be with children with learning differences.

Go Vivian!

And glad to know Hockey Boy can be ready for Christmas!

Yeah for Vivian! What a great took for her in the classroom. My children have them in their classes and I am amazed at the things they do.

Glad to hear Hockey Boy is on the mend. It must be hard to get it all done and look our for him as well. I hope he is eating your yummy Christmas cookies in no time.

Good luck getting it all done...I'm struggling. They are calling for snow tomorrow. I am making my plan already...cards, cookies, etc

Merry Christmas Eloise!

So glad to hear Hockeyboy's recovery was good. It was fun seeing Vivian at the SMARTboard, I have one in my classroom and it is amazing. I cannot imagine having to teach without one now. Hope all of your holiday preparations are going well!
