Snapshots from Jackson Hole, part III.

IMG_0137
Hockey Boy, Robert and my dad took a 20 mile hike in Grand Teton National Park.

IMG_0145
It wasn't exactly *clear* to Hockey Boy that they would be going that far when he was coerced talked into going along

My creation
Nor did anyone mention that it might SNOW or that the raingear brought along for him was my mom's pink Gore-Tex jacket

IMG_0168
Hockey Boy wishes he were still back at the house asleep

My creation
He looks a little happier here; I think these might have been taken early on

IMG_0189
Look at this beautiful view!

IMG_0197
A happy Hockey Boy at the end of the hike. Perhaps he should have noted the name of the canyon before they set off

Meanwhile back at the house...

Look what the girls and my mom and I spotted in the backyard!

DSC_1097
It's a fox!

LOVE your Jackson Hole photos! We had reluctant hikers on our visit there also :)

....but Hockey Boy looks so nice in PINK!

I have a friend whose husband flew into Jackson the same day you did and went on a five-day hike in the Grand Tetons. Small world!

I must say, your photos are fabulous and the quality is just unreal! In each one of them I feel like i could just reach out and touch what's in them. What kind of camera do you use?

Laughed out loud about hockey boy in the pink jacket and then had to read it to my husband. What a hike. Did they do 20 miles in one day?

Your photos are beautiful. They are a taste of the beauty of Jackson Hole. It probably just gets better in person!

Oh how I love these photos!!!! Dave and I went to Jackson Hole for a vacation when we had been dating about a year (I thought he was going to propose but her did not until about 6 months later!!!) It is is pretty and I recognize most areas you are posting:) Okay so funny about the ketchup bottle on the table. In today's busy busy world...we cannot decant everything!!! But I love your Mother's genteel etiquette!

You are really getting away form it all, Eloise! Your account of Hockey Boy's hike is hilarious! As a mother of 4 sons... I can read boys' minds just from photos alone ;)
