Christmas progress.

Despite spending very little time on the computer yesterday, I did not get as much accomplished as I had hoped. Between church, an Open House with Dots's piano teacher that I almost completely forgot (someone please ask Santa to bring me a new brain for Christmas or at least to return mine to its former splendor) and family birthday dinner for Robert and his twin, I only had small snatches of time here and there. But I was able to get all of my dough made and chilled, and today I have been baking away.

My baking should be done by this afternoon. I'll assemble tins for neighbors and get Hockey Boy and Dots to deliver them. Then I will tackle the mountain of gift wrapping that awaits me in the guest room. Joy!

I want a Dots and Hockey Boy for Christmas to deliver all my neighbor goodies. Please?? And a new brain, too. Totally with you on that one.

Merry Christmas to you and your family...from our chilly neck of the woods!!

Too late for this year, but....here is a hint I saw on TV from a woman who makes thousands of cut-out cookies, many of them gingerbread men.....

She said to roll out the dough ON the cookie sheet, use the cookie cutter and then all you have to do is pull off the excess dough between the cookies. Made sense to me.

J, who has never - and will never- roll anything out

Those all look like WONDERFUL cookies. What lucky neighbors to get tins of baked cookies! I can't believe you got anything done with all you had going on yesterday!
